Meet Hein.

Hein started his journey in training and bodybuilding at age 13 in a little gym in Pretoria.  He has over the years worked on improving his skills and knowledge in all aspects of fitness, health, nutrition and exercise.  His speciality is strength training, stretching and finding new and innovative ways to train using old school principles.

“Living by faith, not by sight.”

Hein and Alida have been married since 1995.  Alida enjoys horseriding and was the owner of Hope Riding horseriding school in Johannesburg.  After settling in Danabaai, she continued her passion for horseriding as an instructor at Souled-out Stables in Mosselbay. Her focus is on helping people achieve their goals despite their fears and self doubt.  Hein and Alida have two children, Annelise and Christiaan.

“Life is a journey.  Enjoy the ride”

Annelise completed her matric in 2019 at Point High School in Mosselbay. She loves to beatbox and is an enthusiastic horserider. She qualified to represent the Western Cape in the interschools league (SANESA) in 2018 and 2019.  She also enjoyed teaching the young kids and beginner riders as a junior instructor at Souled out Stables. Annelise enjoys cardio and core exercises to enhance her horseriding and to keep fit and healthy.

“God is good all the time.  All the time, God is good.”

Christiaan attends Point High School, and hopes to one day become a trainer in the Canine Unit of the South African Police Force.

“When you do something, do it well.”
